I fell in love with this show when it first came out. Weird kid and very small among my classmates. Felt like this antihero was written for me. No one else I ever spoke to, until college, liked it. Oh, and the same year read through JTHM. Scarred for life. Horribly scarred. Bless the creators of this show for darkening my tiny, weird little soul. Oh uh what I really meant to comment was how delightfully dense I’ve been to never discover this lost episode until now. What a day

The fact that Dib is the only person in Zim's miserable existence that pays attention to him is literally so sad tho. Also my favorite unfinished episode is the one where Dib steals Zim's PAK because it goes into more about Irken anatomy which I'm obsessed with. I hope that Soapy Waffles tackles it at some point.

Dib and Zim can't live without each other. Zim without Dib will lose any confidence in his importance, because only Dib seriously assessed Zim - as an enemy who is capable of destroying the earth. And Zim is the only one who didn't call Dib truly crazy, since Zim knows that he is an alien and Dib isn't lying about it.This small connection with mutual recognition of each other as enemies and danger creates a strong bond between these guys, because they are the only ones in both of their lives who do this to each other. I love that part about them
